DDA budget puts money on infrastructure, greens

DDA member (Finance) A.K.Patnaik today presented the budget for the year 2004-05 to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vijai Kapoor. The budget envisages increased development of land, housing stock, infrastructural development such as construction of flyovers, facilities for sports and large scale development of green area. The expenditure estimates of the DDA have been projected at Rs 1,887.86 crore as against Rs 1,426.77 crore in 2002-03 and Rs 1,818.46 crore in the revised estimates of the year 2003-04.
