Over 500 trees in a park in Nehru Place are on the verge of begin lost to a concrete jungle. For the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) plans to axe the trees and develop the park as as night bazzar-cum parking lot in the commercial centre. Sunita Narain of Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) has even requested the lt-governor to intervene. Protecting greesnin the city is important, especially in a congested area like Nehru Place.
