After much delay, the Millennium Park, situated on Outer Ring Road near Sarai Kale Khan, will soon be ready. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is putting final touches to the park, which is the first-ever green area developed on a former Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) landfill. It is built on a site used by MCD as a landfill. DDA officials say it will be an example of wasteland reclamation in the capital.
