The Mumbai transport authorities' commitment to checking the authenticity of CNG taxis has declined after the deadline expired on Saturday, allege petrol pump owners and taxi drivers. March 31 was the deadline set by the petrol pumps after which taxis without certificates authenticating their CNG cylinders would not be allowed to fill up the fuel.
