The Delhi Government has extended the deadline for verification of all the 1,432 unauthorised colonies, which have applied for regularisation, to July 15.Urban Development Minister Dr A K Walia on Tuesday held a meeting with senior officials of Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Environment and Forest department, Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and nine Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and fixed July 15, to classify all 1432 unauthorised colonies which have applied for regularisation as per land ownership.Earlier, the Delhi Government has fixed the deadline as June 31 for verification of these colonies and directed all DCs and concerned agencies to verify the status report regarding land ownership and status of land to enable it to submit a detailed report to Urban Development Ministry.
