Decimation of species

From being a favourite theory touted by ecologists, global warming has now emerged as a clear and present danger facing earth and its inhabitants. A scientific study undertaken across parts of Europe, Africa and Australia has shown that at the present rate of greenhouse emissions, by 2050 almost 1.25 million species of plant and animal life will be extinct. By the end of this century, temperatures will rise by 10.4 degrees F.
