Decades of deafening, pollution-spewing history are to be wiped off New Delhi's streets this week when motorcycle taxis with vintage Harley Davidson engines make a forced final exit. Come Friday, the monstrous eight-seater contraptions, a celebrated New Delhi symbol, will have vanished for eternity, axed by a court order banning polluting commercial vehicles over 20 years old.
