On the second anniversary of the Pokhran-II nuclear tests, India has embarked on the difficult journey of becoming a part of the global non-proliferation regime. This involves accepting the nuclear non-proliferation treaty (NPT) land the comprehensive test ban treaty (CTBT) even if New Delhi continues to resist putting its signature to either of these treaties.
