The much talked about Metro Rail Project has already completed one year since construction started in October 1, 1998 and officials say the first phase of the 53.3 km-stretch would be completed by the year 2002 when Delhiites will witness the first tube trains in te city. However, some experts questions the viability of the ambitious project which envisages reduction of pollution by 50 percent and also helps decongest the overcrowded roads in the city.
