The Delhi government will discuss the floating of multimodal transport special purpose vehicle (SPV) on October 14 for the proposed elevated monorail system in the capital. The SPV will prepare the plan for the monorail system. The transport department, in alliance with its global consultant -Rites, will collect the raw data for this project. The data will be about the demand for transport, population and projected employment distribution of the areas through which it will run.
