With the Delhi Metro set to become a major election issue, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Chairman and senior BJP leader, Mr Madan Lal Khurana, on Monday announced that the second section of the mass rapid transport system would be inaugurated on September 30. The 4.5-km section between Tiz Hazari and Tri Nagar, will be inaugurated on September 30 by the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr L.K. Advani, on September 30, instead of October 2, Mr Khurana told presspersons.
