The Environment Pollution Authority for the National Capital Region has recommended to the Supreme Court a complete ban on new diesel-driven private passenger vehicles in the NCR. The EPA's report - in response to the Supreme Court order of 29 April 1999 calling for stricter anti pollution measures - is likely to be taken up by the Court on Monday.
