Expressing confidence that Delhi would host the Asiad 2014 and Olympics 2016, Chief Minister Ms Sheila Dikshit said the national Capital was set to become a world-class city in the run-up to the Commonwealth Games to be held in New Delhi in 2010. "These international events are a big challenge as Delhi has to make extensive preparation for the Games. But Delhi would definitely become a world-class city in the run-up to the games,' Ms Dikshit said in her address after taking salute of the parade on the occasion of Republic Day celebrations at the Chattrasal Stadium.
