The Union Minister of Textiles, Shahnawaz Hussain, formally announced the hosting of the prestigious "World Bamboo Congress" in New Delhi from February 27 to March 4. Simultaneously, a "Bamboo Expo" will also be organised at Pragati Maidan from February 28 to March 2 where 6,000 foreign visitors from 50 countries are expected.
