The Delhi Government has told the Supreme Court that it has identified seven corridors for plying high-capacity buses. In its submission, the Government claimed that these corridors would be completed by 2009. The first of the seven corridors between Ambedkar Nagar and Delhi Gate -- a stretch of 16 km -- will be complete by August 2007. The RITES has recently submitted its feasibility report on the first corridor, pertaining to objections raised by some departments on the project.
