The lieutenant-governor of Delhi defended the guidelines for the Delhi Master Plan 2021 and assured that all cares would be taken for providing infrastructure and maintaining the green character of the capital city. Lieutenant-governor Vijai Kapoor defended the recently released Master Plan guidelines and said that these were mere guidelines and not directives. Emphasising the importance of better infrastructure and development of green area in Delhi, Mr Kapoor said: "The quality of life in the city is directly proportional to the availability of adequate infrastructure. There are no limits to the infrastructure that you can develop, given the investment and the efforts needed. Infrastructure has to be created and will be created."
