Delhiites will soon have to pay extra charges for disposing of used or dirty water from their households in addition to what they are paying at present for drinking water. The government is considering a proposal in this regard which finally made the cost of water consumption quite high as compared to the current rate. The extra charges for disposing dirty water will be levied as "base water disposal" charges being proposed in the water draft report.
