Shri Ram School, Vasant Vihar has been selected by the Delhi Department of Environment for initiating awareness programmes towards a better environment. The announcement came at an eco-meet held at the school yesterday. Teachers from 23 schools participated in the meet which focussed on training of teachers for environmental education. The school has been selected for the honour due to its efforts in creating awareness about the environment through a group of students called the Green Brigade.
