Some people have started ruining the dhak trees (Khakra) from the very roots itself and using the skin of the roots of the tree for preparing ropes . The forest department has not imposed any restriction on digging of roots of these trees. If no timely action is taken by forest department then this tree which has innumerable values will be extinct forever.
