Bangladesh and China have agreed to cooperate in the field of water resources, and utlize and proect water resources of transnational rivers in the region upholding the principles of equality and fairness. This was stated in a joint communique issued at the end of two-day official visit of Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao to Bangladesh.
