Dhaka hosts SAARC minis-terial-level meeting on climate change end April, an official source here said on Wednes-day. The source said the issue was very much important for Bangladesh which was among the vulnerable countries to be affected by adverse impact of climate changes. Bangladesh drew attention of the world community particularly after deadly cyclone Sidr battered the country's southern belt on November 15 last year. The source said the next SAARC summit scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka on August 2-3 will also focus on the issue. The summit will be preceded by the SAARC Council of Ministers meeting on July 31-August 1, the Standing Committee meeting on July 29-30 and the Programming Committee on July 27-28. Among other issues, SAARC Development Fund, Food Security and Connectivity are likely to come up at the summit.
