Dhaka plans to ban two-stroke engines

Bangladesh in a multi-million dollar fight against rising pollution-related deaths, has drawn up a draft of clean-air measures including a ban on the import of two-stroke engines which power the popular rickshaws."We have decided to impose the ban along with several other measures, including prohibiting the use of leaded fuel, due to increasing health hazards," said Mr Syed Marghub Murshed, secretary of the environment ministry on Friday.
