The Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, earlier known as Dhara Nagari, has rich cultural heritage and is predominantly known due to its association with Raja Bhoj. It has also a rich tribal heritage and was a place of learning. In order to raise the standard of living of the families belonging to the below poverty line, the zilla panchayat has decided to introduce a new project called 'Dhara'.
