Telco official : Contrary to perception, Telco today said that diesel and diesel engines are more environment-friendly and efficient than their petrol counterparts. "Diesel engines produce less carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons and particulate matter in the environment and diesel as a fuel is economical in usage, low in emission, dynamic in ferrying, can be manufactuered conveniently and without much damage to the environment," said Mr Jairam Ramnath, consultant advisor to Telco.
