All diesel-run public light buses could be phased out if a six-month trial scheme on electric and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) options proves successful in Hong Kong. Assistant director of environmental protection Tse Chin-wan yesterday called on experienced public light bus operators to serve as fleet managers in the trial which starts in June.
