A team of scientists has turned to New Zealand in an attempt to resolve the great dinosaur debate. The scientists have begun a three-year study of New Zealand'sa rocks and fossils to try to establish whether a giant meteorite wiped out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago. The multinational team believes evidence of dinosaurids - medium sized plant-eating dinosaurs - and small reptiles that roamed New Zealand may provide vital clues to the species' extinction.
