DMRC awaits Central nod for phase-II

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is hopeful of getting Union government's approval for second phase of its project by March next year. The project is expected to cost around Rs 8,000 crore. After opening of the first underground line , DMRC managing director E Sreedharan said. "The Delhi government has already approved the phase-II project and we expect to obtain approval of the Central government by March. We will start work on the phase soon.'
