Worried over the continuosly increasing congestion in the Capital, the Delhi government is looking at alternative routes. The draft Masterplan has proposed that some additional and alternative links and access corridors be identified to ease congestion on existing roads. The Masterplan has also suggested that all options be considered, subject to feasibility for decongestion. It has listed laying new roads above and along drains, elevated roads and even underground roads. The Public Works Department has already identified certain stretches where
