The Madhya Pradesh Forests Minister, Mr. Harvansh Singh, has directed to carry out a campaign for constituting 'van samitis' under joint forest management in the State and said the constitution and registration of the committees should be ensured by December 30 this year. A total of 22,000 'van samitis' are to be constituted, Mr. Singh said while reviewing the activities under joint forest management at a meeting in Bhopal, an officials release said.
