The march to make Delhi a world-class city by 2010 is on, and the Delhi Transport Corporation is not far behind. High capacity buses will ply on Delhi roads in a few months from now. Although only six in number, they promise to offer the 'real bus' experience which Delhi commuters have so far been deprived of. Unlike other buses, which have their bus body built on truck chassis, these buses it has been claimed are the real buses. The buses are likely to offer the commuter freedom from potholed roads of Delhi with jerk-free rides.
