More buses, including 15 spacious Volvo buses, will be added to the city fleet by March next year and city's overcrowded Kashmiri Gate inter-state bus terminal (ISBT) will get a makeover. Moreover, the impending DTC fare hike has been postponed for some time. Delhi government will acquire 500 AC and non-AC buses and will add to the DTC fleet by March. These buses would ply on major routes that need more buses. Out of the 500 buses, 100 will be run as Mudrika service on the Ring Road. Delhi transport minister Haroon Yusuf said: "The buses will be pressed into service by March. Volvo buses will be on inter-state routes only." Volvo buses will run on routes like Delhi-Jammu, Delhi-Katra, Delhi-Agra and Delhi-Udaipur.
