Executive Director of BHEL, Bhopal bagged "Enertia Award-2010 for Individual Achievement in Hydro Poower Sector". The announcement was made the other day by Professor AG Iyer, Editor In Chief & founder member of Jury for the awards. The Jury unanimously selected Dubey for this prestigious award at the end of meeting held on September 4 for his outstanding contribution in the field of Hydro Power Sector. Chairman of Jury is Anil Razdan, former Secretary, Department of Power, Government of India. Enertia is leading journal on Sustainable Energy & Power, the holding company FALCON MEDIA & Research give away this prestigious award in eighteen category every year. Dubey and his team have to his credit, supply of 280 Nos/13815 MW of Turbines for Hydro projects that includes 24/1661 MW of Turbines, which have been exported. Considering total of 36953 Mw of hydro plant capacity in India, it can be seen that 32.9 percent of capacity in India has been created by Dubey and his team at BHEL, Bhopal.
