To achieve sustainable improvement in the city environment, the government of Netherlands is funding Rs 159 crore for a five-year period (2000-2004) under the 'green Hyderabad project' (GHP), chairman of Hyderabad urban development authority (Huda) T Krishna Reddy has disclosed. Huda had planted 55 lakh seedlings and generated employment to 20 lakh manpower days which was a major success.
