The plan to beautify the Yamuna Pushta slum area and convert it into a into green belt, however, drew a cold response when only about 30 slum dwellers came forward for 'voluntary relocation'. Confusion prevailed among the slum dwellers and they were reluctant to give the Letters of Consent to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) officials, who had put up a camp for the purpose at the Gautam Puri Part II Colony in Yamuna Pushta jhuggi cluster area. The MCD wants to relocate the dwellers at Holambi Kalan.
