The expectations of the new BJP Government in Gujarat to expeditiously sort out the issues facing the implementation of the mega Narmada dam project with the installation of the BJP Government at the Centre has been belied. The party's national president and the Union Home Minister, Mr. L. K. Advani, it is learnt, was not impressed by the State Government's request to look at the project from Gujarat's angle and take early decisions to sort out the impediments coming in the way of implementing the mega project.
