'East India Plants' take over Rajasthan forests

An "East India Companu Plant", but of a different kind, is spreading its roots in Rajasthan's reserve forests disrupting the food chain and particularly , tiger habitats and supressing the local forest plants. The Prospis Juliflora or Vilaiti Babool, more popular as "East India Company Plant " among forest officials because of their nature and speedy germination, has today become a headache for the officials who are unable to control their spread.
