The Union Government has taken a decision to delegate the power of providing education for all children in the country to the State governments, and a committee has been formed for the purpose of going around the country and identify the problems of child labour. Stating this at a workshop organised by the All India Organisation of Employees (AIOE) in collaboration with ILO, IPEC and FICCI, in New Delhi by the Union Labour Secretary, Mr. L. Mishra, said the country required $12 billions to give education to all children.
