Delhi is all set to lose its face. With the Delhi government giving the go-ahead to an elevated Metro corridor from the IIT gate to Qutub Minar, the inimitable view of the 12th century monument is set to get bisected. Built in the 1192 AD by the slave dynasty, the 71.70-metre tall Qutab Minar has been for centuries the face of the Capital as Taj Mahal has been for Agra, Gateway of India for Mumbai or Victoria Memorial for Kolkata.
