Emergency centres set up for dengue fever cases

Emergency centres have been set up at the Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas, Taluka hospitals, and five Basic health Units of the district to deal with dengue fever, said EDO Health Dr Khadim Hussain Lakhair in a handout. He said awareness campaign had also been launched through handbills and lady health workers. He said a dengue fever patient, Mukesh s/o Bhalyo, resident of village Suleiman Rajar, near 78 Mori, was brought to the Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas who later was shifted to Liaquat Medical University Hospital Hyderabad for further treatment. He advised the people to take precautionary steps and if a case was detected it should be immediately reported to his office, taluka hospital or any health centre.
