The tribals should be given back their own alienated land encroached by the organised religious societies, BJP state secretary P P Mukundan said in Wayanad, Kerala. He asked the Government to implement the Tribal Land Act of 1957, while addressing a press conference here. The encroachers should be ready to hand over the land on their own or the State should take steps to give back the land grabbed by them. The torture of tribals by the police force must be ended.
