From our Correspondent NAGAON, Oct 17: The unabated encroachment by the thousands of Bangladeshi immigrants in a planned way inside the Kaziranga National Park and its surrounding areas posed a great threat to the security and existence of the park. The Nagaon Upabhokta Suraksha Samiti alleged that the forest authorities have failed to accomplish their duties honestly and are more concerned in satisfying their political leaders and masters. The Samiti opined that it is the duty of the Government and the concerned authorities in evicting the intruders from the park no matter who they are, whether Bangladeshi or Indian. The Samiti urged upon all the political parties to make their stand clear on the issue of Bangladeshi immigrants. They also urged upon the indigenous Muslims, who constitute an inseparable part of composite Asomiya society, to come forward in a more active way and stand against the Bangladeshis.
