The Himachal Pradesh Government has decided to remove 41,083 encroachments from 81,68 hectares of forest land within this week and the authorities concerned have been ordered to implement the decision within the stipulated time frame. Stating this at a press conference, the Forest Minister, Mr Chander Kumar, said the wrong policy of the previous Dhumal government encouraged the encroachers to grab forest land.
