An eight year-old boy died due to possible side-effects of endosulphan spraying in stateowned cashew plantation corporation farms in Kanhangad in Kerala, becoming the third victim to the pesticide in less than a month. Jithin, a Class III student, suffering from physical disorders since birth suspectedly due to the pesticide spraying, died in Pulloori.
