Thrissur: Agriculture Minister K.P. Mohanan said here on Tuesday that the State would intensify raid against endosulfan. In the wake of the reports that endosulfan was being used in the boarder areas of the State, he said that immediate steps would be taken to prevent the smuggling of endosulfan from other States to Kerala. The Minister was speaking to media on the sidelines of the State convention of the Socialist Janata (Democratic) here on Tuesday. The State government would file an affidavit in the Supreme Court on endosulfan issue in a plea demanding the formation of a tribunal, Mr. Mohanan said.
