SuntechKays Encon International (Pvt) Ltd and Somar International, UK have jointly launched energy conservation products at a ceremony held at a local hotel here on Saturday. Three products including Powerboss Integra, Intelligent Motor Controller, Powerboss Eluma, Intelligent Lighting Solution and Evasive which is specially designed to be supplied to original equipment manufacturers of air conditioners and refrigerators were unveiled. David Bone, CEO, Somar International, UK informed about the key features of products, saying that the Intelligent Motor Controller is a device attached to AC induction motors to control the electrical energy supplied to the motor. He said that Powerboss Eluma lights save 85 percent electrical energy. These lights are applicable to warehouses, factories, petrol and CNG stations, department stores, etc. Industries have lighting loads up to 20 percent of their total electrical loads. Robert Gibson, Deputy High Commissioner of UK in Karachi, John Lee, Technical Director, Somar International, UK, Mt. Graham Abbot of Australia, Zubair Tufail, Vice-President, FPCCI and other businessmen were present on the occasion.
