Rural MLA N R Suryanarayana Reddy stressed the importance of engineers in building infrastructure in villages and advised them to work for the betterment of villages. Inaugurating two-day satellite-based introductory training programme at Taluk Panchayat office for Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers from Bellary, Kudligi, Hadagalli and Siruguppa in Karnataka, he said every effort should be made to decentralise Panchayat Raj system to strengthen it.
