Hyundai Motor India Ltd(HMIL) is planning to restrict supply of its Euro-II complaint Santro cars initially to the national capital region(NCR) and continue to dispatch Euro-I compliant vehicles to the rest of the country.For meeting the stringent Euro-II emission standards, the company has decided to import micro-processor-based advanced catalytic converters, to be fitted in the vehicle engines which are already Euro-I complaint because of having mullet-point fuel injection(MAFIA) system.
