Arz, the pro-active NGO is one of the few channels working to help the hundreds displaced by the slum demolitions here last year wade through the bureaucratic red-tape for a slot in the Goa government's rehabilitation scheme. "A year has gone by, and not even temporary shelter has been provided by the government,' Arz director Arunendra Pandey points out.
