The former Prime Minister, V.P. Singh, along with senior leaders Harkishan Singh Surjeet, A.B. Bardhan and the former Prime Minister, H.D. Deve Gowda, called on the Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee, and urged him to formulate a comprehensive policy for rehabilitation of people living in slum-clusters.
