Science and policy must come together to consider the 'pyrites-oxidation hypothesis' and the proper course of action to counter arsenic contaminaiton of groundwater, according to Peter Ravenscroft, of Mott Macdonald an UK-based engineering consultant, at a seminar on the environment in Calcutta on Sunday.
